As a design and build company, health and safety of our team, contractors and of course tenants are our top priority.  Before planning a project we also assess the space from a health and safety perspective.  Under UK law, employers and service providers have a duty of care towards their staff, clients, and visitors. This means that it’s necessary to have policies and procedures in place that safeguard health and safety in the workplace. The particulars of these policies and procedures vary depending on the workplace type, but the following requirements apply to most office-based businesses.

We subject our business centres to a thorough review of existing paperwork and identifying issues that have been logged and not yet fixed before considering moving forward.  As part of our planning process, we will also formulate the forthcoming year’s action plan in terms of tests, maintenance checks drills and so on.

Our health and safety process centres around these key areas but not limited to them.

  • Fire safety
  • Electrical risks
  • Water related testing for bacteria such as legionella
  • Flooring and step related risk
  • External building risk
  • Estate-wide risk
  • Eyesight & lighting risk

All projects will be subjected to satisfying the needs of ALL health and safety checks and inspections and ensuring any and all professional-lead recommendations are undertaken to ensure the safety of ALL tenants and visitors to site.
